Looe Key Marine Sanctuary
After we finished exploring the Sugarloaf area, we headed over to Strike Zone Charters for our afternoon coral reef dive in Looe Key. The visibility was poor, but we did not let that stop us from having a great dive!
Looe Key 2.0
On our sixth day of class, we returned to the Looe Key Marine Sanctuary for some more scuba diving and snorkeling with Strike Zone Charters, where we completed two more 45 minute dives.
The Mangroves
Our third day consisted of exploring the mangroves in Looe Key Marine Sanctuary. We rented a boat, which Sean Carey was the captain of, and ventured to a large mangrove island, where we snorkeled for over five hours.
Looe Key
Our second day of class was a snorkel/scuba trip through Looe Key Reef Resort (LKRR), which is also a dive center. LKRR took us out to the experience the Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary, where we completed two 45 minute dives.
